Hello, my name is Amanda Painting, and I would like to welcome you to my web site. Wow, sounds bit formal and official doesn’t it? I’m about as far removed from formal and official as you can get!  When people ask what I do for a living, I proudly say I am an entertainer.  It’s not just my job, but my life, my love, and my passion.

As you browse the pages you will read about my life in general, and how I’ve enjoyed adding a few extra strings to the bow of my musical career, with my song book, and my workshops.  In the last few years I have developed a keen interest in the holistic side of life.  For more on that choose from the links on my personal stuff section.

There are music samples and video clips to download, and the opportunity to buy my album  On My Own.   My repertoire ranges from ballads to swing, jazz to pop, and rock to show tunes.
A fairly new venture for me is my own radio show on Radio Ceredigion, great fun! Do check me out on www.radioceredigion.net now on Sunday nights at 9pm. There are guests, music, and chat and the main thread running through all the shows is to invite people to have the courage to follow their dreams.  It has taken me 46 years, so don’t give up hope!

People often ask which is the favourite string to my bow.  The answer is simple, I just love the whole bow, if I’m singing and playing the piano surrounded by people, I’m entertaining.
